Chalki does not have an airport, so the easiest way to reach the island is by first traveling to Rhodes. From there, you can continue your journey by boat, with several options depending on your schedule and preferences.

From Piraeus (Athens)

Chalki is connected to Piraeus by long-haul ferries serving the Dodecanese.

Duration: ~24 hours.

Stops: Karpathos, Kasos, Crete, and other islands along the route.

From Kamiros Skala (Rhodes)

Daily small ferries and day boats connect Kamiros Skala with Chalki, especially during summer.

Duration: about 40 minutes.

Distance from Rhodes Airport: ~35 km.

Operators:

During the summer months, demand is high and extra routes are often added. Seat reservation is possible. It is recommended to confirm times with the Chalki Port Authority (+30 22460 45220).

By Catamaran (Rhodes)

Dodekanisos Seaways operates modern catamarans with service to Chalki.

Frequency: 2 times per week (round trip same day).
